Metallica, Jeff Beck, Run DMC are the only ones that do not make me go “Who?”.
Jeff Beck- seriously? I mean “Loser” and “Devil’s Haircut” Are good tunes but are they worthy of being enshrined along side Madonna and Dusty Springfield? I think not. Is there not a 25 year career waiting period.
Run DMC- Are being inducted solely on their revival of Aerosmith’s career in 1984. That counts doesn’t it?
Metallica- This is the final stage of them selling out. What is next? Cutting their hair and getting jobs as forklift drivers at the local lumber store? Could I please enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Mr Sandman?
